Please note that we DO NOT endorse all of the content on any given site -- for example, many of these sites have views differing from ours even on issues we consider very important -- baptism, the Lord's Day, the role and functions of the local church and its officers, etc. -- but we believe you will find some rich and fulfilling reading by checking out the following links. As always, we must read everything with prayerful, biblical discernment.
Bible sites:
Online Bible North America. Home of the fabulous Online Bible program which we use and have found to be a great blessing. Best of all, the program with all of its contents (except for some newer copyrighted translations, which can be unlocked for a small one-time fee) is FREE. Hundreds of modules (Bibles, books & commentaries) can be downloaded and installed. Download & install the program first, then download and install the modules -- books, commentaries, dictionaries, etc. (Many additional titles not in the other module lists are found under "User-Sent Material.")
Christian Classics Ethereal Library. This site contains hundreds of older classic Christian books (though tends towards some rather mystical titles) which can be downloaded or viewed online; a Bible you can use online; and commentaries organized by book of the Bible.
Writings, Resources and Topics:
Chapel Library. This ministry of Mount Zion Bible Church in Pensacola, FL, provides over 800 books, tracts, and booklets by classic Christian authors (see list), available by mail or for free download. They publish a free quarterly magazine, the Free Grace Broadcaster, each issue on a single theme containing excerpts from various authors.
Eternal Life Ministries. Many good articles and resources from a Puritan, Reformed and Reformed Baptist perspective.
Founders MInistries. Established by Southern Baptists who desire to lead the Southern Baptist Convention back to its Calvinistic roots. For some good Reformed Baptist resources at this site, click the "Study" button on the Home page, then "Founders Library."
Grace Gems. This ministry describes itself as "A Treasury of Ageless,
Sovereign Grace,
Devotional Writings."
Grace to You. John MacArthur's website. Writings, books, sermons, Shepherds Conference information and topics.
Hall of Church History. A "floor map" directs you to different periods and groups of authors, including many Puritans and Reformed Baptists.
Ligonier Ministries. Website of pastor and Bible teacher R.C. Sproul. Excellent resources on this site including downloadable radio broadcasts.
Monergism. Thousands of searchable articles on theological topics from a Reformed perspective, as well as audio resources. The Monergism Directory of Theology is the largest online Reformed resource library in the world. Additional free resources at Monergism: Classic Articles on Reformed Theology, described as "a Sampling of the Writings of Pastors and Theolgians who Went Before Us"; and the Contemporary Reformation Theology Page, Essays in the Historic Christain Faith From a Classic Reformed/ Evangelical Perspective.
Nine Marks Ministries. Ministry of Mark Dever and Capitol Hill Baptst Church in D.C. "An educational forum to discuss, examine and debate the elements of a healthy local church." Some good articles & resources.
Puritan Library. Powered by Monergism, a great resource library of Puritan works in EPUB, Kindle and .pdf format.
The Reformed Reader. This site is dedicated to the historic (Reformed) Baptist position, with writings and links on historic Baptist doctrine and theology.
Audio Resources:
Sovereign Grace Audio Treasures, a ministry of Eternal Life Ministries. Thousands of free audio sermons & devotionals.
Monergism MP3 Library. In addition to written resources, Monergism offers thousands of free MP3s for advancing the gospel and Reformed truth.
Martyn Lloyd-Jones Recordings Trust. A full library containing over 1600 sermons of one of the 20th century's greatest preachers, now available to members at no charge.
Christian Books:
Banner of Truth. Publishers of many older classic Christian books, including many Puritan classics, and Banner of Truth magazine. Excellent prices, very quick shipping, and some interesting articles on the site as well.
Monergism Books. Not a Baptist site, but an excellent source for purchasing Reformed books.
Reformation Heritage Books. An additional resource similar to Monergism Books above.
Solid Ground Christian Books. Stated mission is "to bring back the treasures of the past to minister to Christians in the present and future. Solid Ground is commmitted to publishing God centered, Christ-exalting, scripture-saturated books."
